We were warmly welcomed by Giacomo who kindly took our coats & showed us to the restaurant. Tomas was our lovely waiter. Special thanks to Pedro who made us feel very special. The food was delicious & of good sized portions. Although the restaurant was full it was not noisy thus creating a wonderful atmosphere.

I had an unfortunate experience here last year which was dealt with extremely well especially with instant service recovery. It’s been a year since I visited ( before this I used this establishment on a regular basis). On this visit they returned my faith and I will use them again.

As a group of 4 we were all very impressed with our lunchtime visit and every part of it. The staff were very friendly & helpful , the restaurant relaxed & we all appreciated the talented piano player supplying varied background music . The food was presented beautifully and everything we had was delicious with so many flavours.

We did think the drink prices were rather high and would have preferred the 175ml size glass of wine rather than the 125ml on offer. We thought it was a great choice for a special occasion lunch.

We had a lovely afternoon at the Lanesborough, celebrating our 60th years. the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and well presented. It felt like a real treat, and an extra lovely touch was a sweet treat with a candle in for us each. The Lanesborough is a beautiful hotel.

Our service charge came to £50, equating to 20 per cent of the total bill. I feel that other voucher users should be made aware of this charge. There would be very few people who would challenge this cost in front of friends or family who they were spending a special occasion with. Also the tea or coffee supplement was £9. £9 for a cup of coffee is extortionate, my friends ordered theirs unaware of the price.
