Very nice restaurant overlooking Kensington Park. Ideally located for the Royal Albert Hall.
Staff werevery attentive and the menu quite varied. The food was excellent and well presented. With 1 coffee (not included) and a 12% service charge there was an extra £22 to pay. Overall a lovely 3 course meal with a bottle of wine at a lovely restaurant for nearly £100 was good value in London.

I've been going to this restaurant for about 13 years now. Travelzoo used to have the best deals at this restaurant. Even though over time there is not the cocktail with the 4 course meal (I still remember the fantastic cheeseboard and coffee!) The food is always good and the staff and service is exceptional. However, booking was a problem with no answer from my email and I had to follow it up. They then got the dates wrong so that's why I marked it down.
Also, my eggs were partly uncooked (translucent, runny and unappetising) which is why I marked down the food. However, I'll always buy this deal again and again. Please continue having them.
( Btw, I wish you also did the dinner desks at the Savoy☺️)

The staff were very welcoming and efficient, and we enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine and a delicious amuse bouche. The starter was very good but the roast was a little disappointing. Roast potatoes were overcooked and not at all crispy and the beef was tender but a little tasteless. Vegetables, gravy and wine all delicious! The meal ended on a high with a delicious soufflé and excellent coffee (on the house as recompense for the potatoes). Overall a very pleasant afternoon.

The restaurant lacked any atmosphere, we sat alone in a cold end of the restaurant (we feel maybe just for those on tz deal but maybe wrong!) and there was no ambience, view or anything to make the space feel inviting.

I received a couple of text messages threatening to cancel my booking unless I entered credit card details.....even though I had prepaid voucher.
This was unnecessary & stressful....
.particularly as there were problems with I'm not a robot site.
The restaurant was fairly empty.....but service was rather slow.....
We waited rather a long time for initial service..... apart from water on the table.
We would have liked a glass of wine at an earlier stage.

To make the booking with travel zoo, I called the hotel as requested to book it but they then told me to book with open table and give my credit card details which was unnecessary as already paid and we paid the service harge separately

a particular member of staff called Bogan was extremely helpful and gave us good food recommendations. The food was extremely good quality and only fault was they had overvcooked the roast potatoes but there was a good choice of vegetables with the roast dinner. The fixed lunch menu was actually very innovative with a good choice
