Atul Kochhar's AA-Rosette-awarded Beaconsfield restaurant, Riwaz, is hosting an event for Travelzoo members. Atul will be on hand, together with TV chef Giancarlo Caldesi. Meet the chefs and ask them questions about their lives in the culinary world. You'll also enjoy a tasting menu with paired wines for £109 per person.

Atul Kochhar is a twice-Michelin-starred chef. He frequently appears on TV shows, including "James Martin's Saturday Morning" and "Sunday Brunch".
TV chef and best-selling author Giancarlo Caldesi owns two restaurants—one in London and one in Berkshire.
Caldesi wrote a cookbook on diabetes after his own diagnosis. This focused on life-changing eating to prevent and reverse Type 2 diabetes, without sacrificing flavour and good food. He has also appeared on shows including "MasterChef", "BBC Breakfast", and "Saturday Kitchen".

The only negatives are it said coffee and pastries to start but it was just coffee and biscuits and was seated towards the back so virtually no view and a little hard to hear at times.

It was a Christmas photo my husband who loves to cook Indian food. He loved the democracy and picked up lots of tips. The meal was delicious and receiving a signed cookbook and meeting Atul topped off a fantastic experience.

Beautiful meal and an interesting demonstration by an engaging chef. Some very minor details such as being given the wrong menu were not significant. The event description described tea/coffee and pastries on arrival. The pastries turned out to be packet rich tea biscuits, of which some were even broken, and we hadn’t anticipated an event described as having extra luxury touches to have the tea and coffee as self service in a paper cup like you’d expect at a work meeting but the rest was lovely.

Haven't visited Riwaz yet. Vaasu experience with Atul Kochhar was excellent, apart from being charged £27 service charge. Surely that should apply to the meal and drinks and not the whole cost of the ticket. We paid but other diners queried it, which I completely understand.

Compared with our previous visits the food was disappointing. The main courses were a small amount of fish or prawns in a lot of sauces. No other vegetables in the curry.

The food was delicious. The waiters were excellent. What was very disappointing was that we had to pay extra for the first course main course and dessert The chives for not paying were very limited. So I would not recommend a travelzoo voucher. This was a gift for a birthday and I had to pay more than I expected.

A couple of the courses were excellent and unusual but the other 3 were fairly underwhelming. We ended up paying an extra £90 on top of the travelzoo vouchers. This was extra for 500 ml wine carafe, £12 supplement each because it was considered dinner at 6pm and one coffee. We had no extra bread or naan as this was an additional £8.95. We travelled for 1hour 40 minutes to get there so this is the main reason for probably not going back again but if we lived in Beaconsfield then a return would be a possibility.

We really like the building and decor. Staff very attentive. , the food was served in a professional and friendly manner. Was surprised at all the supplements on two of the courses, this detracted from the experience. Had we not had the voucher and paid the full price this would have been even more of a surprise. Overall we enjoyed the food.

Overall the food was of high quality and deep layering if flavours. Disappointed and shocked to see so many supplements on this tasting menu when would expect to be set. One of toilets is very badly stained again shocked the see at such a prestigious restaurant.

We were greeted at the bar, checked in and shown to our table. The waiter was very attentive taking drinks orders then food orders. Both came to the table quickly. The waiter told us what each dish was and checked in with us whilst eating. We were not rushed to leave once we had finished eating.

£60 surcharge for evening booking plus on 3rd and 4th course where you had to choose it was anything between £5-£8 supplement. The menu should have been designed for the price… Marlow wasn’t like that ! It cost us £60 each for one drink and an ok meal but nothing special. A double extra price is just greedy!

We were made most welcome by very friendly staff. They were able to change our reservation time at the last minute. Do be aware that much of the food is spicy jn varying amounts and that some choices from the menu comes at extra charge. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience.

Went for the 5 course tasting menu with friends. Absolutely excellent but did notice that most of the menu had a supplement cost added. It didn't matter to us but worth noting
