Permanently wheelchair disabled.using a standard folding wheelchair. From the very beginning, we were warmly greeted by the door man, who unlocked the rotary door allowing us to pass straight through. Another member of staff approached us and offered to help. We explained where we needed to go and he helped us all the way to get us to the restaurants level, it took two lifts. We stopped off at the cocktail bar for a treat and later on to the Restaurant. We had a table overlooking the Thames . The staff were very attentive and helpful with the menu. The Pasta with crab was excellent, we added a desert. The inclusive wines were very good. Later we were helped back to the reception. The Savoy was wonderful and not an every day experience . Good value for the money.

The decoration is beautiful, good ambiance, excellent service from the helpful team. We had a Prawn cocktail to start, Pasta with Crab and I had cheese for my desert, which was well presented. The team made you feel comfortable.

Initially they charged us for 4 glasses of wine. We only had 2 which were included in our deal, therefore they should not have charged us. They took 2 off but still charged us for 2. I did inform the waiter prior to service and when the wine was given.

Excellent - beautiful interior. Staff were very welcoming even though we arrived as 4 drowned rats and were using the travelzoo vouchers ( no-one told the sommelier so he was a bit put out to just serve us the included glass - the white wine good but the German red not so good). But food, ambience and attention to detail all excellent. Thankyou

The vouchers are for the Fixed price lunch menu ( though we were able to book for the evening) and waitress explained we could have had the à la carte and the cost paid deducted that way which was much appreciated though we all chose the fixed price in the end. The sourdough bread and butter was sooo delicious! In effect the travelzoo voucher is the same price as two courses but with a (125ml) glass of wine pp as well . We will look at going again even if voucher not available as it was just so fantastic and price wise probably not much more than most average places.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at The River Restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.

Visiting the savoy for the first time. Fantastic experience and beautiful building. Had a drink in the main bar and then the iconic American bar with pianist playing some fabulous music. Fantastic experience will definitely go back. All the staff were amazing and very friendly.
