Atul Kochhar is a twice-Michelin-starred chef. He frequently appears on TV shows, including "James Martin's Saturday Morning" and "Sunday Brunch".
Glynn Purnell earned Birmingham its first Michelin star at Jessica's in 2005. The chef is a regular presenter on "Saturday Kitchen".

The food was fantastic. This is a cut above your usual Indian. The dishes were well-presented, good mix of dishes and most importantly were 'clean your plate' delicious. The dining experience was great. Buzzy atmosphere in the main dining room or quieter near the window. Waiters gave just the right amount of attention which was appreciated. Food was the star of the show.

Palladium was great, Evita was a little disappointing in that "Don't Cry for me Argentina" was sung on a balcony outside of the theatre to an audience who have not paid to see it. We had to watch it on the screen. This was a bad decision on the directors part in our opinion. Found the loudness of the music drowned out the singing so at times it was difficult to follow the story. Stage was extremely minimalist and simple for West End. Choreography and Energy in the dancing was impressive.

Limited set menu choices, and the inclusive drink was only a half pint of Cobra if you didn’t want wine. A mixed kebab starter had a £12 supplement as did the lamb main course. The chosen chicken tikka masala had only 3 pieces of chicken, primarily being all sauce. The main course was also unexpectedly spicy and we had to buy a mango lassi to cool the mouth. This was £7.50, and we also paid £7.50 service charge on the inclusive meal! Profiteering - a disgrace. I wouldn’t take a future theatre deal if Kanishka was the restaurant.

The service at Kanishka was bad, they lost our order. We arrived at 5.00pm, ordered at 5.10, by 6.00pm we had not received our starter. I had to go to thr desk to find out what was happening. They then told me had lost our order. We then had to reorder . They did not even offer us a drink in compensation. Then had to rush our meal to get to the theatre. Absolutely awful experience that ruined the whole night.
