Paper Moon London sits within the super-luxurious Raffles London hotel. It's part of the transformation of the historic Old War Office, Churchill's headquarters during WWII.

Paper moon was excellent. Couldn’t fault anything.
BUT I would check the website before booking with travelzoo as in our opinion, no benefits in booking through travelzoo

Very poor Menu there choicewas only 2 options for all food . Main course was Lamb or Seabass, l chose Seabass which was OK, but there was no proper veg or potatoes. There was something on my plate and l had to ask the Waitress what it was. Apparently it was Mushroom which was cold and tasteless. Very disappointing. There was only 1 choice for desert , which was a little tart hat was quite nice . Wine very expensive.

Very nice experience, caring staff, l am wheelchair bound, l use a standard folding chair which was fine for their chair lift. In my opinion not suitable for big power chairs or scooters. This is not a criticism. The staff were attentive but not pushy. It was Chris's birthday and they decorated a plate along with mini cake with candle. Looked lovely. She was chuffed. We will be back.

They produced a birthday plate, which was very kind and the desert was pleasant. Our waitress was very nice. She took away my meal so we could eat our mains together.

The main courses were unimaginative, dull and awful. My mother couldn't cut, let alone chew her lamb which was two over cooked chops on a plate with a mushroom! My pasta was big white, tough tubes of pasta with some thin strips of courgette, parmesan cheese and a sauce that tasted of butter. They replaced mum's dish for chicken, which was edible but it was basically chicken legs and sweet potato. I could have easily cooked all this at home (and better!)

We received s very warm welcome by all the staff at the Paper Moon and our waitress Stefania made our experience very special. The atmosphere was busy but relaxed. The wines were a great selection and I loved the Gavi. Very memorable and I will be back . Thank you to all the staff, they have us a great experience together.

The service of the two waiting staff was efficient and very friendly. One person in our group of three was vegetarian. The set menu was fish and meat. The staff went and asked the manager if vegetarian food could be served for one of us. Vegetarian starter and main dish were provided. It was my birthday and I was given a small cake with candle on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed the whole experience and would definetely return and recommend the restaurant to friends.

There were 4 choices on the menu and 3 were fish. Not good if you don't like fish! I thought the music was too loud and we were unable to hear what the waiter was saying. We were charged for something we didn't order but it was removed from the bill straight away. The place lacked atmosphere.
