£59—3-course meal & bubbly for 2 at luxury London hotel

Excellent food on the Travelzoo fixed menu. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. Couldn’t fault the experience.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Wasn’t busy as we went early evening so not rushing to West End Show.

Initially the ‘bottomless’ drinks were very slow to arrive but the service greatly improved once I pointed this out to a server. It was a lovely experience and the staff laid on a surprise birthday treat for my friend which was very much appreciated

I tried to make a booking but the telephone number on the travelzoo voucher was wrong, Royal Horseguards have changed their number! I emailed them but didn’t hear back so went along and fortunately they could accommodate us!

The service and food were very good but I think £12 for a regular( not large) glass of house wine is too expensive!

The staff were lovely.

The food was uninspiring and the main course, though well cooked, was lacking in flavour. It was also clear that the same deal: 3 course lunch for two (set menu) including a glass of sparkling wine was on offer through a different voucher scheme for £49 not the £59 that I paid. I have been there before a few years ago and the food (and overall experience) was a lot better. It was disappointing as I had taken a friend there as a birthday treat.

The staff were great. Teja the bartender was fantastic.

Fantastic setting, superb food and tremendous value. We are definitely going to revisit again.

The food was very nice, the restaurant wasn't crowded, overall good experience. The only think is that once we've been served it took long time to get attention to pay the bill. We asked 3 times before we were able to pay which was a bit annoying

I went on Wednesday using a £59 voucher but the bill was £49. I was never offered a discount or offered the opportunity to forego the 12.5% discretionary fee.

Food was amazing however staff were very slow to table when looking for top up of drinks and one order did not get to us and then at end we waited over 5 minutes to get a waiter for one final drink only to be told our time was up by 5 minutes.

Great location and can't fault food and drink just be good if staff were more attentive we weren't the only customers trying to find ataff

Very enjoyable meal, the dining room was quiet and seeing not many guests, the staff could have been a lot more approachable and we felt we had to keep asking for another drink - especially as it state’s bottomless brunch

Excellent food and service

The options on the menu were good. Hence why I booked it in the first place. But definitely not worth the money for a bottomless brunch and for the service we were given at what is supposed to be a beautiful and luxurious hotel. Very disappointing.

The service, absolutely terrible. There were about 10 staff members, if not more, walking around in the exact same uniforms, we were served by one young lady who gave us the menus and asked what drinks we would like, after that it just went completely down hill from there. It could not of even been an excuse of not having enough staff on, because we saw plenty walking and dawdling around. We saw other couples being seated that were also not getting any attention or service whatsoever. We finally received our starters which were just left on the table. We had to keep asking and trying to get the waitresses attention constantly to ask for another drink, which one in particular just kept making eye contact with us and then walking the other way. It wasn’t busy, there were 4 tables altogether in the room, including ours. But it seemed as though all the staff members just wanted to hide in the kitchen. I am so upset as this was booked for my partners Birthday’s surprise brunch for our special trip to London and I was just completely embarrassed by the whole thing. I booked and asked for an outside table in the porch; even though it was a lovely day, and I when you book you are given the option to choose inside or outside, we were told there was no seating in the garden today. Once finally receiving our main courses, we asked for condiments, it took around 10 minutes for us to receive them, after having to ask again! Once we received them, our glasses were empty, the waitress just completely ignored the fact we had nothing to drink with our meal. Therefore having to ask again. You book and pay for a bottomless brunch, but in a 2 hour time slot you are practically having to wave down a member of staff to provide you with a drink that you have already prepaid for. Staff just looked like they didn’t want to be there and were hiding away. Absolutely horrendous experience for something so dear at somewhere that is supposed to take your breath away!

Lovely afternoon, we had the 2 course set menu bottomless brunch service & staff were good, think we had a new waiter as he was a bit unsure of some things but he was nice,attentive & friendly and kept our glasses topped up, but we did have to ask a few times for refills Food was excellent with good sized portions and well presented. Worth a visit & we would return

A beautiful hotel with attentive staff.

If you are arriving into Waterloo Station use the Golden Jubilee footbridge to get to the hotel.

We couldn’t get booked earlier than 3 pm for brunch on a Sunday . We arrived early and the restaurant was completely empty ! They did seat us early in the empty restaurant which was good . But we just sat there eventually we were served , staff very nice and polite . My friends dish she ordered Kedgeree the waitress said they didn’t have any lentils so they will make it without . But the dish they bought out was the salmon and prawns . As we had bottomless brunch the bottle wasn’t left with us . No atmosphere just us in eating - very odd . A family did come in and that made it seem not so awkward . Couldn’t understand whey we couldn’t book earlier . Full price for this brunch is £55 it’s not worth it . The restaurant is nothing special

Great food and drink loveky service but quiet and no atmosphere

The food was excellent with generous portions. You did have to ask for drinks even when our glasses were empty but staff happily supplied.

There were lots of different staff members serving us so it was difficult to connect with them.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff who couldn't do enough for us but left us well alone when we wanted to chat. I always book an afternoon tea here when I see a special deal on Travelzoo. Never disappoints.

Our waitress was very nice and friendly and we erre made to feel nothing was to much trouble, the terrace outside was a lovely place to sit after lunch and have afternoon drinks.
