This experience usually costs £30–£50 per person. But we've managed to get a limited number of free tickets just for Club Members. Visit Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Covent Garden for a 90-minute tour and expert-led tasting session. The brewery is home to new and exclusive lagers, and porters you can't get anywhere else. Learn about the history of Guinness and how to serve the perfect, creamy-topped pint.
The brewery stands on what was once Combe & Co., an 18th-century brewing powerhouse.
It was a central figure in Covent Garden's booming brewing district, when the London porter soared in popularity. Inspired by the porter, Arthur Guinness set to work on his version, creating the Guinness recipe.
Today, the brewery is making brand-new lagers, porters, and IPAs you won't find anywhere else. Guinness itself is brought in straight from Dublin.
See where they're made with a guided tour of the working brewery, as you learn about the history of Guinness.
You'll then get to try the London-made brews during a tasting session in the Brewer's Room. You'll taste four creations, curated by the venue's Master Brewer.
Finally, master the art of pulling your own pint—experts will teach you the skill of the surge and settle.
