Staff were helpful especially Stephanie.

Lunch was extremely poor. Too much walking in flip flops - place is too big for a spa. Swimming pool area dated as were showers and changing area. No staff on Spa reception had to go and search to be checked in. The forms I had to complete were shocking - hardly any ink on the double sided paper in a tiny font. In the end I gave up and didn’t complete. Golf and corporate business meetings is their key market.

The hotel looked amazing, good massage and very tasty food. Spa facilities were clean and well set out and it wasn’t too busy.
Other Comments
The spa area was surrounded by blocked windows with no natural light, even the spa cafe. We were told that our afternoon tea was in the spa cafe when actually it was in the hotel restaurant. It felt as though they weren’t expecting us in the restaurant although there was a table set up. There was a delay whilst waiting for the food, not a problem as it was a relaxing day but surprising as the restaurant was very quiet. Not as well organized as it might have been.

Very well organised and excellent confirmation email from their Serenity Spa team confirming all aspects of (our) Day. We added on a couple of full facial and back massage treatments which made our day more personalised. The Afternoon Tea was yummy and included a glass of Prosecco each; we chose to have a long fruit juice instead - due to having to drive safely back to our homes !! Well worth the Deal cost.
