It was a birthday treat for my daughter for us to share. Lovely hotel and facilities, staff were wonderful, we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and was so nice to relax and have some mother/daughter time. The facials were so relaxing we fell asleep. Definitely be back.

Access from the A1 travelling north requires crossing central reservation. Beware can be dangerous. Continue 2 miles take next exit and come into the road heading south. Lots of parking and friendly welcome.

The few staff we met were all very helpful and friendly. We didn't get given our glasses of prosecco for some reason? The massage treatment was very good but the room used wasn't brilliant.

The lounger cushions around pool were very stained and the water faucet only delivered warm water. The tables after the food service were still not cleared 3 hours later.

Had a lovely time and feel that received value for money. However some aspects of experience would put me off returning. I visited with a friend and we had to take our spa treatments separately meaning we had to spend time alone. The treatment room was quite away from the spa area. No facilities to get a coffee etc near the pool area and did not want to get dressed or go in dressing gown to main hotel bar/lounge to get one.

Need to consider having an area near the pool/spa facilities to have a coffee/snack where you can go in your dressing gown.
