  • Broadoaks is an opulent country-house hotel, traditionally built from Lake District stone and slate. The seven acres of landscaped grounds are framed by picturesque woodlands and Trout Beck. Each room is uniquely designed.
  • As part of this offer, you'll sit down to a 5-course dinner in the Beatrix Restaurant. The menu uses produce from across the Lake District, and combines fine-dining classics with a selection of Cumbrian favourites.

The mattresses were dreadful so none of us slept. The windows were so old they wouldn’t close. The food was very poor quality. Breakfast was okay but substandard. One staff member had really bad B.O and the other wore a scruffy shirt not ironed. The hotel was tired and mainly does weddings it could be so much better as it’s in a great area and is a charming building. It’s just tired and a bit like Fawlty towers . The service was very poor but on Saturday the agency staff were excellent. Not worth the money and we visit a lot of establishments.

Food was outstanding room needed some chairs bathroom was over the top and sunken bath was a step to far i was not able to use as I couldn't get in it. Need to change to walking shower.
