More Reasons to Go
- Explore the 240 acres of gardens. Wander the parkland, lawns, and forest areas, and see fascinating fauna and flora.
- It is home to an abundance of wildlife. Meet wallabies, whose colony has been there since 1889. There are also deer, foxes, rabbits, grey squirrels, badgers, weasels, stoats, shrews, and voles.
- There is also a sculpture park with an outdoor exhibition trail. Spot mesmerising sculptures amongst the trees and shrubs, and some of the estate's lakes.
- The Daily Telegraph named the gardens as one of the most enchanting gardens for autumn.
- For younger visitors, there is a doll's house museum and a play park. This features a 5-metre multi-level champion tree and slide, balancing beams, and many swings.

Absolutely beautiful landscaped gardens around lakes. Saw the Wallabys and 2 Joeys in their mum's pouches, which I've never witnessed before. Many trees in bud but also many beautiful colours already out.

Great soup and roll in coffee shop. There was also a superb children's play area which we didn't use. The Doll's House barn is more like a fascinating model village, with so much to see. A great history lesson.
