Wander ten acres of Edwardian gardens at Mount Ephraim in the Kent countryside. The family-owned estate features an arboretum, a grass maze, and topiary, rock, and water gardens. Entry is normally £10—Travelzoo members pay £7, saving 30%, and get a tea or coffee included. Children can also visit for £3.
What's Included
- Entry for one adult (aged 17 years and older) to Mount Ephraim Gardens
- A tea or filter coffee for one adult. You can upgrade to a barista coffee on the day for an additional £1, payable direct
- Entry without a hot drink is £6
- A child (4–16 years) can enter for £3
- Children under 4 years and carers can enter for free
- Valid 11am–4pm Wednesday–Sunday until 4 October, 2026. Last entry is 3pm. Last orders at the tea room is at 3:30pm.

- Mount Ephraim Gardens has been owned by the Dawes family since 1695. It is still run by family members today.
- The design of the gardens was first laid out in the early 1900s.
- Stroll around the small lake and water garden, framed by a Japanese rock garden and bridge.
- There's also an unusal topiary, featuring various animals and birds, a grass maze with herbaceous perennials, and an arboretum.
- On a sunny day, you can enjoy a picnic in the gardens.

Lots to see with beautiful beds & pretty little waterfalls. Lots of colour in the borders & well maintained. Tea & cake in the café was very tasty.

A lovely place to wander around at leisure and take in the wide variety of flowers, shrubs and trees in a variety of habitats and open spaces. Lots of informal seats and benches to sit and absorb the views as well as eat a picnic.

Went with three friends, it was a very hot day, however there was plenty of shade and beautifully placed seating.
There was a cafe serving hot /cold drinks and very nice lunch snacks. The gardens were wonderful creating a splendid day out. We will certainly visit again.
