  • Elements restaurant, named after the four elements of nature, has two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence. The elegant space features striking decor and large windows showcasing views of the surrounding countryside.
  • Pre-dinner drinks will be served onboard Agatha, a green and gold Routemaster bus in the hotel grounds.
  • Classic rooms are in the main building, and Bunker rooms are in the newly built annex within the estate. Bathrobes, Molton Brown toiletries, and tea- and coffee-making facilities are included.
  • At the centre of the estate is a grand Victorian manor house. It features ornate wood panelling and plasterwork. Built by Lord Walsingham, it accommodated the Canadian Air Force during World War II.

This was our first booking with Travelzoo and probably worth the price of the membership just for this one trip. Made to feel like a second class citizen upon check in. Felt like being with travel zoo and having to produce a PIN number before we could enter the room was embarrassing as I hadn’t got it to hand. Our bags had already been taken to the room. We unfortunately had to leave on the first morning due to my mother feeling ill so can’t comment on rest of stay. There is also building works ongoing which is not stated when booking.
