The staff were friendly and helpful but the room was a bit run down and the loo was so close to the towel rail that a large person would have difficulty sitting on it.

The light above the tiny area for making coffee or tea wasn't working and although we reported it not was done about it.
The menu in the restaurant was very limited but the food was quite good.

We had a really nice time at the Orchid Hotel. The room was a little worn but it was fine considering what we paid. The breakfast was really nice and the staff very friendly. It was out of season when we visited and therefore the hotel was very quiet. No issue with parking and the room were made every day.
With hotel being so quiet, the bar was very quiet too, hardly anyone drinking there - no issue for us as we spent all of our 3 days out and about. I would go back again. Thank you.

Parking was right at the front. The hotel was decorated nicely but the bedrooms rooms could have some time spent on them . We would love a response from yourself as it is a shame as we have used Travelzoo regularly

The room was not an executive room although we were told it was but they changed the room - I wouldn’t say that was an executive room but better than the first. We used our meal voucher Sunday evening at 7.30pm - the soup was nice but so hot it had been microwaved. My husband ordered fish n chips - it had been kept warm in the oven whilst we ate our starter - the peas were baked and the fish was baked and was so small it was just the tail really I should have taken a photo. We asked to take it back and get something else but was told the chef finished at 8pm and gone so nothing else available. Dessert neither of us liked so we didn’t have any. No coffee or milk in the room had to go and ask for some for the morning. Although we have complaint to a very polite young lady who seems be doing every job going nothing was able to be done. So no we wouldn’t be wanting to be coming back here again.

Very friendly staff. Decorated pleasantly in public areas and bedroom although stairs and landing required a little attention.

Don't eat out much but thought the drinks at the bar and the dinner menu choices were expensive.
