  • Saunton Sands Hotel is perched on a clifftop above three miles of sandy beach. The AA says the views are "stunning" while Condé Nast Johansens praises the "amazing location".
  • The Source Spa holds an AA Best UK Spa award for Devon. Facilities include a thermal suite, a rooftop relaxation room and sun deck, and a gym. There are also indoor and outdoor pools, and a tennis court (equipment hire is free).

The staff are very friendly, the setting is amazing. Our room was comfortable and had a fan installed as the weather was hot. Nice thoughtful touch. The evening meal was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful but need more training as most of them were young and inexperienced. Overall a relaxing good value break.

The hotel is fantastic with an amazing location. The food was a very high standard. The staff were very professional, very helpful and courteous. I literally couldn’t fault anything. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again. I should also mention the fabulous deal from Travelzoo.

A lovely hotel, somewhat dated. Great views of the beach from the terrace. Bedroom excessively hot even though it was no longer a heatwave. Fan provided was too noisy & gave little relief. Food was very good as was the service by the staff.

My husband used the spa. He found it to be very controlled as he had to book for a certain time. He couldn’t go in between the pool & the thermal suite without asking staff to unlock the door. He found the whole experience not relaxing due to excessive noise from other guests so didn’t stay there for long.

Excellent and facilities but room in need of updating ( a rear room with no window in bathroom and 34C heat did not help) Not quite the dining experience of similar 4* Brend hotels. Plenty of staff catering for customers needs.
