- Beeley is a former estate village at the edge of Chatsworth Park. Employees of the Duke of Devonshire once lived in the village.
- Pilsley Inn has a 4-Silver-Star rating from The AA, plus a Dinner Award. It's a cosy property with bedrooms split between the main building and a farmhouse next door.
- Chatsworth Farm Shop is a short stroll from the property. It supplies much of the produce used by inn's kitchen.
- Chatsworth Park, on the banks of the River Derwent, was largely designed by Capability Brown. Trails of varying lengths are available to walkers throughout the year.
