The staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were very good.. The room had a picturesque view over the river and the parking was under cover. The swimming pool was a welcome bonus.
Other Comments
Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep on either night due to a couple in who on the first night we having a full scale row high pitched row well into the early hours of the morning and the second night a repeat, of urging with another couple involved. This event was not the hotels fault and would not detract us from using the hotel again or recommend it.

Well situated, staff were really friendly and helpful. Food in Tanners Bistro was fine, breakfast a bit disappointing. Room was quite large for standard room, bed a double so a bit uncomfortable but ok for the money and fur one night. Box of choc in room a bonus!
