The Dining Room has impressive views out across the bay. Dishes feature local ingredients, from Saltmarsh Lamb and Morecambe Bay seafood to Cartmel Valley game.

The hotel is set on a hillside in Grange-over-Sands on the Cumbrian coast. The town centre is a 10-minute walk away. There's a mile-long promenade, myriad shops, tea rooms, and ornamental gardens complete with duck pond.
The property is a great base from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Newby Bridge and the southern shores of Windermere are around 10 minutes' drive, while Bowness-on-Windermere can be reached in 25 minutes.
Cartmel, a pretty village that is famous for its 12th-century priory and is the reputed birthplace of sticky toffee pudding, is also 10 minutes' drive from the hotel.
