Old fashioned and breakfast late in the morning and all under heat lamps breakfast was awful and could not have it on the last day because of leaving the hotel at 0730am

The staff were lovely, very professional and helpful. This includes the restaurant manager and staff. I am very impressed because the hotel asked for feedback and when I left comments they responded to me in a very positive way.
Other Comments
I have only positive comments to make regarding this hotel. The other guests we spoke to return several times a year.

Golf was a bonus but the course was in very poor condition, particularly the greens.
Evening meal £35 pp was good but we experienced a cold custard on a hot dessert, which was tasteless. The steak was cooked to perfection.
Awoken at 7.30 by the beer delivery men right outside our room. Very noisy. When complained to reception no action was taken.
We received an electronic bill which included drinks we hadn’t consumed. Had to go to reception and argue to get it corrected.
Great position, nice room but our stay was let down by the general admin

Very pleasant stay. Would have been even better if we had a view, but think you get what you pay for this was a special with Travelzoo, though have done many bookings with Travelzoo and this has been a first with NO VIEW

Breakfast and Evening meals were good.
Other Comments
The path from the back of the Hotel to St.Ives /Beach was nowhere near marked appropriately. It certainly was good value, as we had a Travelzoo voucher.
