What's Included

  • The Flight Simulation experience, which includes a 5-minute briefing and 40 minutes in the simulator. You will carry out a take off from a local airport and practice basic manoeuvres. These include climbing, turns, descent, and landing
  • You can also get the Helicopter Flight experience for the same price. This includes learning how to hover, a flight, and landing on a helipad 
  • Also for £46, you could try the Piper PA28 Warrior III simulation experience. This uses a full-size Warrior III aircraft fuselage and cockpit. You will fly in various weather conditions over the countryside from Sleap to Liverpool Airport
  • The Airline Pilot simulation experience is £72. You will get 75 minutes in the simulator then have a go at all aircraft preparation. This includes programming of computers, and start up, push back, and taxi out
  • The Combination Flight simulation experience is £95. This consists of two flight simulations—a standard flight and a post training flight. You'll experience passengers loading onto the flight, and flying them to their destination. Total time (excluding briefing) is 100 minutes
  • Valid 9am-5pm Tuesday–Saturday 1 December, 2025–30 April, 2026; the Helicopter Flight and Warrior III experiences are valid Tuesday-Thursday only

This was a Lads and Dads day out and what an introduction into the life of a Pilot. I was overwhelmed by the volume of switches and dials in a nice way. Dave gave us expert tuition and some fun along the journey. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 3, with each person being able to watch the others. I believe that 3 would be a maximum otherwise number 1 will be bored after number 3 has completed their run.

Made very welcome on arrival. Staff and instructor could not have done any more to make you feel welcome, comfortable and informed. The biggest surprise was to actually sit in an actual 737 cockpit that for many years flew the skies was one of the highlights. The instructor was excellent and very engaging and encouraging. We did a whole flight from Manchester out over the coast and circling round over Blackpool before landing back in Manchester. What an experience and would definitely do it again.

I was made welcome immediately, offered a cup of tea even though I was very early. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The actual experience itself was amazing and although there was a lot to take in everything was explained clearly and without rushing. To see and understand the flying procedure was fascinating and exciting.
