Good parking but also very close to the train station if required. Food available on site. Easy walk to the local Wetherspoons. No stairs so very accessible to all. Bring your own picnic, benches supplied. One ticket lasts a year. So go back as often as you can.

Staff and displays exceptional. From the greeting at the entrance, the superb hour long guided walk packed with information, the displays in all the buildings and huts, to the staff in the canteen and coffee shop, this is an absolute gem.
There is too much to do in a day, but your ticket is valid for a year (travelzoo discounted tickets needed a small amount extra which I was very happ to pay).

Whilst it was good to see school children there, we wouldnt go back in school term time. There were numerous groups of school children who were in large groups, unsupervised and seemed disinterested without any teacher intervention. It meant that we couldnt always see the exhibits because they were just standing in such large groups. Is it possible to make it a requirement for schools to ensure that other visitors are not affected by their prescence on site?

Easy to find from the directions online, lovely walk round the lake and exhibits all well spaced out so that it was easy to view the exhibits. Would recommend a coffee break mid way to absorb all the information.

Fantastic. Great food in both thec cafe and a separate restaurant. Massive, immersive interactive history route around the fabulous mansion and huts. Lovely staff. Learned so much. Came away with deeper appreciation of the individuals and collective human effort it took to 'crack the code'. Incredible.
