As well as champagne on arrival and a 3-course lunch with wine followed by afternoon tea, you'll also get insider tips from a racing expert, all within a private restaurant exclusively reserved for Travelzoo guests. The day concludes with live music.
What's Included
- Winning Post Enclosure admission to the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup on Saturday, 10 August, 2024
- A champagne reception (champagne or orange juice) in the Furlong Restaurant
- A 3-course sit-down lunch in the Furlong Restaurant, which features a private balcony with views over the racecourse
- Afternoon tea (served buffet style)
- Half a bottle of wine on the table per person
- Access to a private cash bar, a race card and racing papers, and free parking
- The opportunity to get tips from a racing expert throughout the day
- Use of the table until one hour after the last race, when the Furlong Restaurant closes and evening entertainment begins*

Everything was fantastic, the sit down lunch was superb, served with plenty of wine, attentive wait staff.
Travelzoo reps greeted us with our table number and were very friendly and professional, great value for money, we loved the evening concert too, def will do this again nxt year

Timings of the table could be improved, first we had it all day, then only to 6pm, the correct time was 5.30pm and the bar closed at 5pm, the correct timings would have been helpful !

We thoroughly enjoyed our Travelzoo experience in the Furlong restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. However the race course experience was not so good. The fact that all the food outlets shut at 6pm was not helpful considering we had eaten by 1pm and were expecting to stay for the concert that didn’t finish until 8pm. It was also a recipe for disaster as the drink outlets appeared to remain open. I understand the police were called later but we had bailed by then because the whole situation was horrible especially for our friend in his wheelchair.

Our experience of finding the restaurant as well as trying to leave the race course afterwards plus the attitude towards our taxi in car park 3 was dreadful. One of my party was in a wheelchair and almost all of the ground staff had no idea how or where to go either in a lift or otherwise. I cannot image what would happen in an emergency evacuation. Car park 3 has a sign off the main High Street saying taxi drop off and pick up point. They are happy for you to drop off but it would appear that the only pick taxis allowed are Windsor and Maidenhead logo taxis. Despite the fact that we were already at the pick up point and it was clear we had a person in a wheelchair the staff would not allow our pre booked taxi to pull around to us. We had to go to them and quickly. All in all. Great Travelzoo experience but a pretty poor Ascot race course experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and thought all the arrangements, the hospitality, the presentation and running of the day by the Travelzoo representatives and the management and staff of the Furlong Restaurant was all excellent, we had a great day !!. It was good to meet the Travelzoo representatives and Stephen the Director.

All very good, a great day and experience and we will repeat it another year, if Travelzoo have the opportunity. The Ascot staff were all very helpful.

Disappointed with the fact they provided us parking in car park 1 which meant we had a very long walk to enter the race course which was not good for my feed and we got caught in the rain so this was not a good start to our day, we would of been better off in car park 3.

Had a great day. Was well organised. 3 course lunch was lovely and the Restaurant and service was brilliant. We were able to enjoy the races from the balcony of the restaurant and the concert afterwards was well worth staying for. All in all it was a very enjoyable day and well worth the money. Would definitely do it again
