One of the best days out w have had i a long time. The collection was incredibly diverse and actually being used, not just sitting in the museum gathering dust. The aerial display was spectacular and the Swiss Garden was equally impressive. Can't wait to go back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The items to view were superb and the Garden walk was wonderful. The aerobatic display was also very very good. Very worth the visit.

Exhibits are well displayed and the venue is pristine. The Swiss Garden was an unexpected bonus. Would highly recommend a visit.

Very good and as we went midweek in term time there were not too many people or kids around only small groups on school trips.

A lovely time wandering through the collection with so much information about the early days of flight. Maybe not right for little ones. Enjoyed the walk around the Swiss Garden. Lots of friendlt and helpful volunteers around only too happy to share their interests

Do talk to the volunteers they have some great stories to share

Plenty of free parking and lots to see with many different planes some cars ,motorbikes of all ages. Well laid out and helpful staff and good cafe with good choices for all ages and can return within 30 days free. Children under 18 are free so great for families

Interesting and good value

With little or no expectations we ( three blokes 60+) went to Bedfordshire to visit the Shuttleworth collection. A wonderful display of very early aircraft and some motor vehicles. The attached history as the machines changed from expanding man’s vision and imagination into war machine and the consequential loss of human life is staggering. Nevertheless it is a wholly enjoyable corner of the country and one which needs preservation. As an added bonus the tranquility if the Swiss gardens made for a most enjoyable end to the excursion.

Plenty to see and do. Swiss Gardens particularly lovely at this time of year. Very sizeable cafe with plenty of food options.

Well laid out, interesting collection of planes,cars,motorbikes and bikes. Also lots of information on boards around the hangers. The various planes flying from the grass airstrip was good to watch as well

Much larger than I thought and a lovely large Swiss Garden to visit too.

Sadly the house and Swiss garden were closed but we did see the aircraft hangars. I didn't notice any reference to closures on the website.

First time I have visited. I am in no way an aviation or motor enthusiast, however I found the collection very interesting and very well presented. The Swiss Gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

There is no heating in the hangars so wrap up warm if visiting on cooler days

Most enjoyable and informative day. Loved the gardens and watching planes fly in and out. Found the temperature rather cold in the hangers so be prepared for that.
