Itinerary

  • Day one... you'll be picked up from home and taken to the airport for your flight. On arrival in Berlin, you'll have dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day two... go on a guided coach tour of Berlin's east side. Visit the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, and the East Side Gallery. You'll also get some free time to explore at your own pace.
  • Day three... explore west Berlin on a guided tour. Visit the Reichstag, the Victory Column, and the shopping street of Kurfürstendamm.
  • Day four... transfer to Dresden, stopping at Potsdam en route. This charming city was once home to Prussian kings. You'll get a guided tour of the Baroque squares and classical monuments, plus some free time. You'll then continue on to Dresden and get settled in to your hotel.
  • Day five... head off on a walking tour of Dresden. See the Semper Opera House, the Church of our Lady, Bruhl's Terrace, and Dresden Castle.
  • Day six... visit the nearby riverside town of Meissen. You'll tour the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, home to exceptional porcelain. In the afternoon, you'll continue on to Moritzburg. Admire the sunshine-yellow Schloss Moritzburg, and ride a heritage steam train.
  • Day seven... transfer to Wernigerode, stopping at Colditz Castle en route. Sitting on wooded hilltop over the Mulde river, the castle has a fascinating past. In the afternoon, you'll arrive at Wernigerode, on the edge of the Harz mountains. It's home to half-timbered houses and a fairytale-like castle.
  • Day eight... see more of Wernigerode's old town on a morning walking tour. See the Medieval town hall, the market square, and the characterful crooked houses. Later, you'll board another heritage steam train up Harz's tallest mountain. You'll go all the way to the mountain's summit, and can take in incredible views.
  • Day nine... visit the storybook town of Quedlinburg. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this town is over a thousand years old. It has a Renaissance castle, Romanesque buildings, and Art Nouveau villas.  You'll go on a guided walking tour, plus have some free time to explore.
  • Day ten... transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK. On arrival, a Titan representative will be waiting to take you home.
