Why We Love This Hotel

  • You can take in views of Liverpool's dynamic skyline and the Mersey. The hotel's bar and terrace and restaurant both have impressive waterfront views.
  • All rooms have wall-mounted motifs of Liverpool attractions. Superior rooms are larger than Standard rooms and have added toiletries.
  • Liverpool's waterfront is a 2-minute stroll from the hotel. You'll see the Royal Liver Building, one of the iconic "Three Graces" that overlook the Mersey.
  • Royal Albert Dock—for a host of dining options—is 15 minutes' walk away.
  • There are a host of other attractions within 15 minutes' walk, too. Tate Liverpool is currently housed at Mann Island on the waterfront by the Liver Building. The Wheel of Liverpool, the Museum of Liverpool, and the World Museum are nearby too.
  • The Cavern Club, where The Beatles played many of their early gigs, is less than 10 minutes away. Fab Four fans can also check out The Beatles Story museum at the Royal Albert Dock.

On arrival we were given a family room not a superior room as booked with your offer, we asked at reception when given the key is this a superior room and were told it is. When we got to the room we knew it wasn't as we've stayed here previously. Went back to reception to be told no other rooms available but another person on reception took over our issue/booking and changed our room to a superior room which was lovely and what we had booked. Bathroom was a little tired and the toilet was very low which might be an issue for some. Rooms get cleaned every 3rd day but you can request a clean earlier or a top of tea/coffee/towels/bathroom items. Breakfast items were of a high quality, plenty of choice, friendly staff. Nice that breakfast was available until 10.00 am. Excellent central location, easy to walk to most of the main attractions. Only one out of three lifts working for the duration of our stay and due to a foot injury I couldn't manage the stairs to the 6th floor, so a bit of a wait at busy times. The lifts were not all working on a previous stay. Taxis were easy to book with a free phone in reception and the ones we ordered arrived within a five minutes. A taxi from the hotel to Liverpool Lime Street was just under £5.00. We would recommend this hotel.
