we had to move rooms after one night as the heating wasn't working but the reception staff were very helpful organizing the move and helping us to move.

Would recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, good service, good food, position. Bedrooms slightly in need of refurbishment but not an issue

Towels and bedding clean and comfortable, food was good and staff very helpful.
Other Comments
The bedroom furnishings were tired and the bathroom very dirty, toilet stained, bath grimy and floor had hair and fluff. We did complain and they did supposedly clean it but nothing changed. They didn’t seem bothered.

We had a good experience at the hotel. Our room was large and we had everything we needed. We had dinner with relatives, and everything was lovely and the service was good. The breakfast was good and again the staff were attentive.
Other Comments
The only thing I would criticise is that parts of the hotel are looking a bit worse for wear, mainly in the corridors. The leather chair in our room had seen better days. I do understand that there may be no funds for updating furnishings and it is not something that would stop me staying again or recommending the hotel. We have stayed many times and will continue to do so.

The staff were helpful and changed our friends room as their room was worse than ours! The evening meal and breakfast was very good value.
Other Comments
The rooms were very tired looking, carpets quite dirty and the bath was mildewed around the sealant, shabby!

The Deddington Arms could be a very nice place to stay with some time taken with staff training and some room decoration and maintenance.
Other Comments
Very tired rooms. Very dusty. Disinterested and surly staff.
