- The hotel is located on Kings Waterfront. The Royal Albert Dock is five minutes' walk away.
- Facilities at the hotel include an all-day coffee bar. There is also the Bar & Grill restaurant, offering salads, steaks, burgers, pizzas, and more.

Lovely business hotel. I mentioned a noise in my bathroom which they said they would fix but it still seemed to be there in the evening. They did not ask/tell me about their concession parking. I had to ask on checkout. It actually saved me £10. I did not use the breakfast facilities and would always prefer a room only rate.

We arrived early and the receptionist tried to get us a room, but unfortunately there weren't any ready so we left our bags. Check in was quick and easy. The room was adequate a bit dated and stains on the carpet, but the window opened which was lovely as I'm not a fan of air-conditioning. The carpets in the corridors especially around the lifts are very grubby. Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice.
I would go back on a deal but wouldn't pay full price as there are lots of hotels to choose from.

Location could not be better, excellent views from 6th floor bedroom. Bedroom itself was ok but if you looked too closely extra cleaning was needed, for example, massive build up of dust in corners of the room. Also had to enlist a cleaner to re clean the toilet as it was not properly clean around the hinges where the seat is joined. Bathroom also a bit old fashioned and bed not the comfiest.

Breakfast on a Friday morning was a bit chaotic. They only serve until 9.30 during the week but not everyone staying during the week is on business. If you’re visiting for leisure you’re not going to be having breakfast at 6.30 am hence everyone turns up around 9am and it’s chaos. Surely serving later on weekdays as well would alleviate the pressure.

The only down side was the self service breakfast. Only 2 hot drink machines working. Only one toaster and around 40 people all down for breakfast at the same time. Staff kept running out of plates and breakfast items not replaced. By the time you managed to get your breakfast after queuing, your toast and hot drink were looking warm. The whole breakfast experience (just queuing for food, drink and toast), took over 30 mins

This is always a great Travelzoo offer - good hotel with great location on the Liverpool waterfront. Added benefit of a quality complimentary bottle of Prosecco is excellent ( actual cost @ bar is £30 ) .
Only downside - as per previous visits , breakfast is average at best . Coupled with this , breakfast ends @ 9.30am on weekdays , resulting in long queues from say 9am onwards , which causes major issues if hotel full midweek with over events . E,g concert at adjacent M & S arena ). This was case with our recent visit ( Rick Ashley was on @ the arena ) . As such , breakfast service from 9am onwards was pure CARNAGE , and NOT enjoyable . We provided feedback to the hotel , that they need to manage such incidences much much better.
Notwithstanding - we would still use this same Travelzoo offer in the future

Following an accident, I am having to use a walker or crutches. I had a new hip fitted 4 weeks previous. I asked for and was allocated an accessible room. However was advised at reception that this meant a walk in shower (good) but a lower bed which is actually the exact opposite of what I need, in fact could be harmful. I resorted therefore to a standard room. I think it needs to be fully described what an accessible room provides….not all people with disabilities are the same with the same needs. Also the group of WCs off the hotel reception are all reached through a single, heavy door. I had to wait for someone to come along to help. Someone in a wheelchair would be in a worse position, this really needs addressing.

Staff appeared to be under considerable pressure, especially room operatives (short staffed?)
Room was not initially serviced as we hadn’t realised that it was necessary to actively ask for service - not encountered this before.
We were not able to control the air conditioning unit as the thermostat in the room was from circa 1996! However, when the relevant member of staff eventually decided that this situation should change, we received a visit from the Maintenance Manager/Engineer who was a great advertisement for the hotel and who very swiftly replaced the old thermostat control with a brand new one. The gentleman, whose name unfortunately we didn’t get, was friendly, engaging and a first class craftsperson.

Evening meal was good but unfortunately the hot breakfast was not so pleasing, the food being warm at best and not well cooked. The remainder of the breakfast options was, however, excellent.
Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful but again, appeared to be struggling with shortage of numbers.

What rather ruined it was that a bottle of Prosecco was not given to us upon arrival. Also there ew3as no fridge in the room. Excellent stay @ Liverpool Leonardo - great location on the docks , nearby to museums and Liverpool One shopping . Superior room was excellent with super view of the docks . Bar area was busy/friendly and free bottle Prosecco was excellent . Breakfast was average hotel fayre , but frustratingly only served to 9.30am on weekdays . Parking 24 hours was discounted from £27 to £18 , still fairly expensive .
Liverpool is a great walkable city and this Travelzoo offer was excellent value - strongly recommended.

Check-in was really easy and Receptionist was friendly. We were early and didn't expect our room to be ready but it was, which was good. Our room was really nice, clean and modern. The hotel is a long way from the center of Liverpool, its ok for concerts at the M&S Arena but otherwise everywhere is a trek. Unfortunately most of our party fell ill with a serious bug which seemed to come from the Hotel so our trip was spoilt.

On previous visits we were allocated rooms on the 6th floor, this time it was 4th floor. Room was just as comfortable but this floor had slightly noisy Australian footballer girls on it and my sleep got disturbed a couple of times. As always all staff in reception, restaurant and bar were lovely. We're returning in December

A wonderful stay we could not complain about anything! The hotel and room was very clean. We were on the 5th floor and the room had a view of the wheel and river, we had a bath with shower. Had a great experience at this hotel, great location, close to docks and only short walk into town. Lovely spaceous rooms with great views. A lovely bottle of bubbly included in our booking which we enjoyed there before heading out to town. Staff friendly. Great breakfast, slightly busy, but not a bother. Great view of the wheel from the room. When my phone fell and broke during check in Edward barman showed me on his phone where shops were to see if I could get it fixed. Receptionist very busy but on second visit down there male receptionist managed to set my heating a bit warmer. Breakfast was excellent. Was so grateful when Pam handed in my purse that I forgotten in my room with all my cards in it after I had checked out.

We had a lovely stay at the Leonardo hotel. The hotel is ideally placed at the Albert Dock right next door to the M&S arena and the Liverpool eye. Easy t get about via the docks which have lots of restaurants and a few shops. Easy to get into Liverpool Centre. The staff are all lovely and friendly and our stay was most enjoyable. We would definitely go here again.

Cooked breakfast was very poor. Fried eggs were literally thrown into a dish, all overcooked & in a solid pile. People discussed the food on display was worse than a "Joe's cafe" Restaurant staff were miserable not a smile between them. Dropped utensils were just put into the serving dishes after being advised by one of our group. Bar staff are totally opposite, smiles greeted us, good banter, very helpful
