Set right on the Monte Carlo seafront, Le Méridien Beach Plaza Monte-Carlo is the only hotel in Monaco with direct access to a private beach. The hotel is also well connected -- it is a 10-minute walk along the waterfront from the Grimaldi Forum exhibition centre and the Sea Club bus stop is right outside the hotel, providing easy access to the city’s sights via lines 5 and 6.
A 20-minute walk or a short bus ride will bring you to Monte Carlo's designer shops, opera house and famous casino. Hotel guests get free entry to the New National Museum of Monaco, a gallery of contemporary art, with their room key. The museum's collections and exhibitions are spread across two buildings: the Villa Paloma, on a hillside above Monte Carlo (take bus 2, 3 or 5), and the Villa Sauber, which is 10 minutes' walk from the hotel.
The hotel's L'Intempo Restaurant overlooks the sea and serves Mediterranean dishes, such as pasta, grilled fish and salads, created at live cooking stations. Drop by the Longitude 7° 26' bar for coffees and éclairs during the day, or cocktails at night. A DJ plays here on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8pm. The hotel also has a heated indoor pool (open 6:30am-10:30pm), two seawater outdoor pools (summer only), a gym and saunas. The hotel's beach is best visited from May-September, when the Balinese-style beach bar is open, and watersports and sea-front massages are available.
Deluxe Rooms each have a balcony with side or front views of the Mediterranean Sea. Rooms are supplied with free bottled water and Wi-Fi is available (extra charge).
