Friendly staff and a good welcome. However, the rooms were not clean (beds had not been moved and there was lots of dirt under the beds). We found men's underpants hanging in the wardrobe and in the drawers!! Breakfast was good, but evening meal wasn't particularly great.

A friendly welcome awaited us at reception where all the information we needed for a pleasant stay was pointed out to us. The Hotel is situated near to the M40 yet far enough away to be not heard. This was an excellent area to be staying in as the Chilterns , Windsor , London and many other places of interest are with 45 minutes to an hour away. The room was spacious and well appointed and breakfasts were plentiful with a good range of choices. Other meals were also available.

Our dinner in the Kite restaurant was absolutely delicious with large portions, beautifully cooked and presented. Sadly. There was only one other couple in the restaurant and therefore no atmosphere at all.

Very enjoyable 2 night stay in a comfortable quiet courtyard room. Had breakfast both mornings which was ok apart from slow replenishment of buffet items. Ate in the restaurant the second night - lovely meal but disappointed with squirty cream on the dessert. Otherwise the hotel deserves its 4 stars.

Nice hotel with good food. However restaurant staff were
Constantly clearing the tables LOUDLY and spraying the tables clean with chemicals whilst we were eating. This took place during breakfast and dinner. A real shame as it was our anniversary and was quite spoilt. Staffa re nice but perhaps some retraining?

An enjoyable visit, meeting up with friends and exploring the area. Staff were all friendly and helpful and a special mention for Philip, who was very helpful and welcoming. The food in the evening was excellent, perfectly cooked and presented and the whole experience offered excellent value for money. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were very good too. Highly recommend the hotel and we would definitely return. Our room was comfortable and quiet.
Other Comments
Our only suggestion would be to have more than one tea/coffee machine in the breakfast buffet; perhaps on the bar counter as the buffet area was prone to congestion.
