What’s not to love about the upscale JW Marriott Miami? This South Florida outpost of the luxury chain is perched in the heart of the chic Brickell business district and close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel décor is best described as timeless elegance, with marble floors, sumptuous leather club chairs and chic chandeliers. Rooms are generously sized and aim for comfort with ergonomic work spaces, pillow-top mattresses and down pillows.
The hotel has a stylish outdoor pool deck with a lap pool, hot tub and sparkling city views. There’s a smallish fitness center equipped with the basics and a full-service spa with several tempting ways to unwind. Splurge at the high-end Trapiche Room Mediterranean restaurant or fill up for less at one of the more casual options onsite.
Tip: For an extra fee, upgrade to one the concierge-level rooms, which include breakfast, snacks, nonalcoholic drinks and a private lounge with panoramic views of greater Miami.
