Why We Love This Hotel
- The property opened in December 2025 and occupies three Georgian townhouses. It's named after Bertrand Russell, the philosopher and member of the Bloomsbury Set. This group of writers and thinkers also included Virginia Woolf and EM Forster.
- The British Museum is less than five minutes' walk away. Its permanent collection of over eight million pieces is the largest in the world.
- Built around secluded squares and grand townhouse terraces, Bloomsbury is one of central London's most peaceful areas.
- Bedrooms feature heritage fixtures such as original cornicing and marble fireplaces. Rooms also include smart lighting, Smeg fridges, and Marshall Bluetooth speakers. "You would be very happy to live here," says The Times.
- Ottie's Salon has a "cosy parlour-cum-speakeasy ambience", says Condé Nast Traveller. It serves a range of cocktails and a bar menu of snacks and light bites. There's also an atmospheric cigar terrace.
- Oxford Street is 10 minutes' walk away. Covent Garden and the theatres of the West End are around 15 minutes' walk. The area is served by stations including Euston, King's Cross and Tottenham Court Road.
