We were disappointed that there was no hotel parking and we had to park approx 200yds away. Room was excellent, apart from no hot water on the final day.

Several items on the restaurant menu and drinks were unavailable due to a lack of stock. Ate elsewhere on second night. Breakfast food was excellent. Had to request extra bowls, mugs and fruit juice. Seemed to be a lack of management.

Excellent staff, especially Patience and Sharon,who were under a a lot of pressure due to staff shortages but handled the situation very well.Food was very good. Our room had a great sea view although compact, the en suite was spacious.The area to the left of the sea view had various tools dumped which took the edge off the experience.Overall good value for money,a great location, and excellent staff.

The hotel is ideally situated on the edge of the town and on the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea.
Meals are good and there is a reasonable selection of drinks at fair prices. Rooms are good , clearly the result of substantial renovation in recent times. However, it was apparent that there is a staff shortage and the current personnel were working hard for long hours . Unfortunately this did lead to several minor errors , for example , our room was not cleaned after the first night of our stay and some staff forgot to carry out our requests. Nevertheless this did not mar an otherwise very enjoyable stay . Lastly, it’s fair to add that we stayed
on a special deal substantially below the standard tariff which naturally influenced our opinion.

My only slight complaint is they need to have the windows cleaned regularly due to the amount of sea gull and other birds our bedroom window looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time

My mother and I stayed at The Imperial Hotel on a deal . The location is amazing , right on the cliff overlooking the castle and South Beach . Our room a Junior Suite, had superb views which you could enjoy sitting on easy chairs with a small table in the bay window . The bathroom was extremely modern with twin sinks and a walk in shower . No need to move out of the hotel! The room had a sofa which converted to a very comfortable bed . Linen was beautiful my laundered .
The deal included £70 worth of food for our evening meal which we couldn’t fault: surf and turf ; beef Wellington . A two tiered dining room with superb views combined with a very large terrace made the hotel . Breakfast was faultless : beautifully cooked , hot ! And eggs Benedict and Royal were also on the menu as well as self service continental and coffee.
There is no on site parking due to the close proximity to the cliff and it being located within the town walls. Parking was off site but really not an issue as there were 3 very close car parks within 5 min walk . South beach was £6 for 24 hours . You can load and unload right out side the entrance .
However, by far the best feature of the hotel were the amazing staff . Everyone was very kind and friendly . Special thanks must go to Tracey , who went to extreme lengths to make my mother comfortable, even up grading our room ,to one with easier access and fewer stairs .
The manager .Erin and the lady who served us breakfast were all a credit to the hotel . What a team .

Suggestions : Promote the terrace. Maybe a huge poster? / Screen ? at the front of the hotel to capture passing trade. The front entrance , which is at the back of the hotel as there is no access to the front as it is so close to the cliff edge! too needed to be more inviting to passing trade .
Possibly revamp the terrace with a few bright cushions ! Just suggestions to help create more foot fall .Certainly no complaints!

We have dinner with Travelzoo first time we been to this hotel and when an deal was offered for 2 nights we had to try stopping this time lovely hotel and staff are amazing very friendly and helpful the down side was the meal we had it was very disappointing that does need to be addressed the first time was wonderful I shall not have dinner here again unless it improves a lot the breakfast was spot on and yes I would stop here again and recommend it but not dinging there

The newly refurbished hotel has been done to very high quality. Our bedroom was lovely and spacious with sea views and an excellent shower room.

The only down side is no parking. You can park outside for enough time to unload/load your luggage but the have to find a car park. We arrived during a busy time of the day and it took a number of circuits of Tenby to find a space but later had to move it for a 24 hour slot. Recommend arrive late afternoon/evening as parking will be easier to find.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very good, location was good. Nice sea view room. Little tired around the edges - worn, scruffy sun deck tiles, cable coverings missing. Breakfasts were good but the one evening meal ( thick, stoggy risotto ) we had was very poor. also the brûlée we had had not set.

The best possible location, very comfy room, service was friendly but random. Our sea view room was over the drinks terrace so not quiet. I always think a hotel should know their clientele, but I don’t think they’d ever met before. Most of the guests were grey haired couples but the music when dining was very loud and more Ministry of Sound than Radio 2. Great for ageing couples who like to rave……

Mostly good, was put next to a room which was used for storage so could hear the door closing all through night and day. Hotel was lovely and clean and facilities in room were excellent. Couldn't fully open curtains to appreciate the sea view as room was overlooked by hotel bar terrace which was a shame. All in all food was very good for the first day but they must've had a change in chef on the Tuesday as the breakfast was awful. We enjoyed our stay at the Imperial, however the management need to realise that the music played in the bar was far too loud and totally wrong for our dining experience!
The food was good but I would not choose eat there again for this reason !!
