Breakfast selection was good. Even though we had booked a superior room, we only received water and biscuits on arrival. Had thought they would be topped up every day. Would of have liked to see a bit more of security Ie:use of key card to operate the lifts or stair doors to the rooms.

Reception staff were extremely helpful when we arrived early. Our room was ready so we were allowed in.

We had 10% off food and drink (not the expected 15%). Staff were very helpful and explained things with care. Breakfast was excellent.

Beds were comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. Last room we had was quiet and cosy.

First room we had problems with. It also had a connecting door which we have experienced before and do not like in any hotel. Terrible smell of curry in our room from evening onwards!!!! I did complain to Roy a Manager. We were moved the next day. Restaurant food was a disaster- burger was black, hard and burnt. Cheesecake was given to me HOT !!!!! Changed for sticky toffee pudding with absolutely melted ice cream on it. Dish was extremely hot that I burnt my hand on it!!!!
