Two day break. Hotel was excellent. Room, public rooms, restaurant and food were also first rate. Staff were efficient and personable, Chef is amazing.

A comfortable hotel that offers friendly service within a charactful setting. The sumptuous sofas and glowing log burner in the lounge area were irresistible. The dinner menu is varied and caters for all tastes, the standard of food is high quality. Breakfast menu offers a large choice of continental and cooked options.

The hotel is placed in the centre of a delightful town which offers individual retail and hospitality outlets.

What a delightful crew here! They were all so friendly and helpful and made our stay amazing.

You simply have to eat here, the evening meal was one of the best I've ever had (I've travelled extensively when working). The chef even did an anniversary celebration for us, even though we had only told the lady who took us to the room. Can't fault the ambiance, quality of food and skill of the chef's, all served by really friendly waiters who really knew about the food and the menu.
