A beautiful hotel with amazing staff- nothing was too much trouble.
There is a gorgeous terrace at the back of the hotel where we were able to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a drink or two. The food in the restaurant where we had our meals in the evening were tasty and good value for money. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever eaten too,
Our room had everything we could wish for; comfy bed, large walk in shower, huge bath, The White Company toiletries and Yorkshire Tea teabags!

The hotel is situated in the little high street- parking is at the back of hotel and the hotel is perfect for visiting other towns in the area- Oakham is only 10 minutes away by car and well worth a visit,

A comfortable room, beautifully clean and well maintained. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely location in the village and good for visiting other places. Useful to have parking available. We ate over the road at Don Paddy’s and the food was plentiful and of a good quality but we were disappointed not to be able to enjoy Wednesday steak night as they had sold out before 7pm (unusual apparently, due to a large party preordering). Next time!

We were welcomed by very friendly staff and shown to our room early as it was ready. Uppingham is a gorgeous place with beautiful stone buildings and great shops and restaurants. The Falcon Hotel is a lovely old building with lots of character and charm. The room was small but had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was varied and nicely presented by again very friendly staff.

Great hotel in a perfect location, right in the square. There’s only a small car park but if you can’t get in you can park in the pay and display next door and the hotel will reimburse you.
Staff are a credit to the hotel. They are friendly, professional and go over and beyond. The food is delicious both for breakfast and dinner. We ate in Fern and the meal was delicious. Rooms are nice but I found d our best be too firm but still a good comfortable room.

My only criticism is there are no safety grab rails by the bath which made it difficult to feel fully safe getting in and out to use the shower over the bath.

This is a lovely old building on the Square in Uppingham.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The bar had 3 handpumps which is unusual in hotels and we enjoyed the beer on offer. Parking was at the back of the hotel. All in all a very pleasant experience

There was ample parking, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we could possibly desire.
We at at the associated bistro across the road Dom Paddys where the food was gorgeous.
I can't recommend a stay at this hotel more highly.

Breakfast first class, staff very attentive, cosy beautiful hotel. Room too hot for this time of year. no air gets into the room and feels a little cramped. They had a wedding reception, but were pre-warned. Didnt impact out stay.
