The 4-star Mitsis La Vita is along the seafront in the island's main town. The sunset-facing pebble beach is just across the promenade.
Polished marble floors, flower arrangements, and elegant wood panels welcome you in the scented lobby on arrival. You can relax around the small pool protected from the wind by a glass wall. The ground floor of the property is also home to the bar that has an outdoor terrace. It serves afternoon tea every day, and drinks by candlelight on balmy evenings (supplements apply).
Breakfast is a generous affair with an American buffet of hot and cold dishes at the onsite restaurant. There's a Greek corner with locally farmed olives, cheeses, honey, and other delicacies. Your half-board package covers daily dinner at the sister property, Mitis Petit Palais, less than two minutes' walk away. Expect a hearty buffet with vegetarian and gluten-free options, grill show cooking, and woodfire pizza also on offer.
