Hotel details
Hotel Mirador Papagayo by LIVVO is a 4-star resort with 291 rooms. It is right on the oceanfront, and the hotel runs a free shuttle to the beach twice daily. Facilities include two swimming pools, lots of sunbeds, and several hot tubs. There's also a large restaurant and a bar with evening entertainment.
The Rubicón Marina is around 15 minutes along the promenade. This yachting hub is packed with bars, shops, and a popular local market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Walk 15 minutes further and you'll reach Playa Dorada—one of the island's best golden sandy beaches.
Lanzarote gets over 300 days of sunshine annually, but its appeal goes beyond sun and sand. The island has something for everyone—surfers, hikers, culture buffs and even wine lovers. UNESCO turned it into a Biosphere Reserve in 1992. The volcanic landscapes of Timanfaye National Park, around 30 minutes' drive away, are otherworldly.
