Hotel details
Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity sits high in the hills above the resort town of Maspalomas. It is surrounded by a golden haze, ochre sand, and arid mountains. Two lush green golf courses provide a surreal counterpoint to the desert dunes.
The resort spills across several levels, most of which have swimming pools with panoramic desert views. The heated rooftop infinity pool is a real highlight—you can see all the way to the ocean.
Breakfast and dinner are included. The restaurant has several show cooking stations with options ranging from barbecue to bao buns. You can also choose to dine al fresco, surrounded by giant cacti and rare succulents.
A free shuttle bus runs to the golden beach at Maspalomas every 15 minutes. You can also rent bikes or hike on the rugged trails surrounding the hotel. The secluded location also means there's no light pollution. There are hundreds of stars at night, and the hotel runs regular stargazing workshops.
