Itinerary
Begin in Zurich and stay at the Mercure Hotel Stoller Zurich. This modern hotel is in the Albisrieden district, which is known for its village-like charm—a unique find in busy Zurich. Head to the rooftop terrace for views across the city. The hotel's restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (supplements apply).

The next day, travel by train to Chur for a stay at a contemporary hotel close to the station. There's a cable car about a 20-minute walk away, which you can ride up to the beautiful Brambrüesch plateau. Take in views of the surrounding mountains, including the UNESCO-listed Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona.

It's then time to travel to Brig aboard the world-famous Glacier Express. This is one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. The train has panoramic windows so you can get the best view right from your seat. Upon arrival in Brig, disembark the train and walk across the road to the Hotel Europe Brig. 

The hotel is under 10 minutes' walk from the Baroque Stockalperschloss Castle. The town is a gateway to Zermatt—it's 45 minutes away by train. Admire views of the Matterhorn or hike the Five Lakes Trail.
