After arriving into Malta, you'll be met at the airport and transferred over to the island of Gozo. Nestled between the traditional village of San Lawrenz and the Ta' Dbeigi Artisan Village is the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz. This palatial 5-star property is built in local honey-coloured limestone, with a stylish, contemporary design inside. There are two large outdoor swimming pools (one of which is adults-only), plus tennis courts, a gym, and a spa.

Start your day with a fresh fruit or ginger shot, before tucking into a plentiful spread at the hotel breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you could dine at the Il-Baldakkin restaurant, which serves Mediterranean and traditional Maltese dishes. Superior Rooms are spacious, with a balcony overlooking either the pool or the countryside. Luxury touches include memory foam mattress toppers and an extra tap in the bathroom for filtered drinking water. 

After five nights on Gozo, you'll take the ferry back to Malta for another 5-star stay. The Daily Telegraph calls this hotel "the perfect place for a Maltese beach holiday". It's directly on Golden Bay beach, which slopes down into turquoise blue sea. The island's capital, Valetta, is about a 30-minute drive away. There are three swimming pools—two of them outdoors, overlooking the sea. There's also a spa, and a watersports centre on the beach. 

A buffet breakfast is included every morning at the main restaurant, Flavours. There's also a Mediterranean eatery, and an Indian restaurant you can dine at for a supplement. Your room comes with a balcony overlooking the surrounding hills, as well as a kitchenette.
