Hotel details
Barceló Fortina Malta is a 5-star hotel with contemporary design. It's right on the seafront in vibrant Sliema, 10 minutes by ferry across the bay from Valletta. The honeycomb streets of the capital are packed with sights.
Your Superior Room has a furnished private balcony with side views of the Mediterranean Sea. It measures approximately 35 square metres. It comes with tea- and coffee-making facilities. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
Late risers will appreciate extended breakfast times. It is served until 10:30am on weekdays and 11am on weekends. Your package also includes dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The seaview bar offers liquors and cocktails from morning until after midnight.
Dip your toes in the heated indoor pool, or work out at the gym. For serene times, book a massage or beauty treatment at the spa. It has a sauna, experience showers, and a steam room. Just across the promenade, padded loungers surround the outdoor pool (book 24 hours in advance). It is open year-round (weather permitting; not heated).
The upmarket The Point Shopping Mall is right next door. Frequent public bus services stop a few steps away, providing easy connection to other parts of the island.
