Hotel details
The Duke Hotel is a friendly property right next to St Peter Port's 19th-century Candie Gardens. You can stroll down through them to reach the harbour. The town centre is a foodie's paradise, with the freshest seafood as well as delicious local cheese and cider. There are miles of coastal paths to explore—you might even stumble on a WW2 bunker.

A full English breakfast is included every day, and you'll enjoy a traditional afternoon tea once per stay. You'll also have £80 credit, per room, to splash at the hotel. We recommend trying the Dax Restaurant. It serves excellent fresh seafood, and the terrace has views of the other islands.

As part of this package, you'll get a day ticket to explore Herm island. It's just a 20-minute ferry ride from St Peter Port. The island is ringed with unspoiled white beaches and has a resident puffin colony. Beach bars serve up fresh crab sandwiches and wine.

There's a lot happening in Guernsey in 2026. The island will also host the Big Eat food festival, which celebrates the island's gourmet food scene.
