Hotel details
The Moss is in the ski resort of Obergurgl, nestled at the end of the Ötz Valley. It's one of Austria's highest resorts, with quiet pistes and stunning alpine views. It's also a good choice for beginners, with an excellent ski school. The nearest piste is about a minute's walk (120 metres) away. The nearest gondola and the village centre are both about a 5-minute walk away.
The hotel had a complete renovation before the 2025/2026 ski season, with a new design concept inspired by the surrounding mountains. After a day on the slopes, you can unwind in the wellness area. It has a heated indoor pool with a whirlpool section, as well as a sauna and steam room. Massages and treatments are available to book, too.
Daily breakfast and dinner are included at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is served buffet-style, while dinner is a 3-course affair with a salad station to accompany. If you travel over Christmas or New Year's Eve, a special menu will be included.
Twin Rooms come with a TV with satellite channels, and free Wi-Fi.
