Hotel details
The Peninsula Hotel is in a secluded spot in Vale, on the north coast of Guernsey. It has panoramic views across the Channel to the smaller island of Herm. The nearest beach is just two minutes' walk away. Some of the best beaches on the island, like Pembroke, are within 10 minutes' drive. Lonely Planet says the beaches along the north coast are "stunning". In the autumn and winter, you could discover one all to yourself.
You could spend your £50 room credit on a meal at the cosy hotel restaurant. In the winter, wood burners crackle all around. It boasts delicious local produce and freshly-caught seafood. The hotel bar offers craft beer from Guernsey's own Little Big Brew Co.
St Peter Port, the island's capital, is less than 15 minutes' drive from the hotel (or a 30-minute bus ride). It's easy to go into town in the evenings.
