Itinerary highlights
Travel from your home station on the first day. Connect to a Eurostar train from London St Pancras to Rotterdam. Your hotel is just over five minutes' walk from the station. We recommend reserving a table at the Michelin-starred restaurant next door.
Next, ride to the German capital, Berlin. Spend three nights in the Mitte district, two minutes from the Natural History Museum and less than 10 minutes' walk from the Berlin Wall Memorial. Learn about life behind the Iron Curtain on a visit to the DDR Museum (admission included).
Continue to beautiful Prague, home to Gothic spires and Baroque domes. See the imposing castle on a sightseeing boat tour along the Vltava River, included in your trip. You'll arrive in Budapest on the eighth day. Admire an abundance of architectural grandeur along vibrant boulevards and century-old cafes. Soak in the hot waters at the Széchenyi Thermal Bath. A day pass with a private changing cabin is also covered in your holiday.
Head west to Innsbruck, a riverside city in Austria backed by jagged peaks. Wander around the colourful Old Town and see the Hofburg, a former Habsburg palace. Then, travel through breathtaking Alpine scenery in Switzerland before reaching Paris. Spend a night in the 12th arrondissement, a short stroll from bistros and bakeries. You'll be within walking distance of the Seine and the trendy Marais neighbourhood.
On the last day, take Metro Line 5 from the nearby Bastille station directly to Gare du Nord to catch your train back home to the UK.
