Hotel details
Begin in Rome at Hotel Milani, which is housed within a former 12th-century palace. The hotel is 10 minutes' walk from Termini train station. You can hop aboard a Metro and reach some of the city's best-loved sights within 25 minutes. Toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain, explore the Pantheon, and tour the Roman Forum (additional fees apply). You'll also have access to the hotel group's range of free city tours and cooking classes. Enquire upon booking for more details.
Next, travel by train to Florence. Stay at Hotel Ginori Al Duomo - dBe Hotels, right in the city's historic centre and under 15 minutes' walk from the train station. It's a 5-minute stroll from Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Galleria dell’Accademia, where you can see Michelangelo's David (fees apply). You can reach the Basilica of Santa Croce and the Uffizi Galleries within 15 minutes on foot.
One last train ride brings you to Milan, where you'll stay at Eco Hotel Milano. Arrive at the Milan Central train station and take the 15-minute Metro ride to the Affori Centro Metro station, from which it's a 5-minute walk to the hotel. It's 20–30 minutes by Metro to the cathedral, Sforzesco Castle, and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology.
About the tours
You'll take four excursions during your trip. Explore the Colosseum in Rome and listen as your guide tells you stories of gladiators and emperors.
