Hotel details
The Daily Telegraph says the Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort is "as beautiful as its name", and rates it 9/10. 

The resort is set along two and a half miles of beach and coastline on a gated 750-acre estate. Facilities include an 18-hole PGA-designed championship golf course, where you'll get to play a round of golf during your stay. Guests staying 10 nights or more will receive an additional round. There are three swimming pools (including two for adults only), two tennis courts, and a kids' club. Plus, you'll find extensive nature trails in the area, and you can take canopy walks through the resort's virgin mangrove forest. Members will get access to the resort's sauna facilities in the spa. 

Rooms feature bright décor with wooden furniture and colourful furnishings. They have free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee makers, bathrooms with separate baths and showers, and private balconies with ocean views.

The all-inclusive board includes four dining options (including buffet and set menu meals). Guests will receive unlimited house brand signature alcoholic beverages, domestic beers, house wines by the glass, and cocktails. Afternoon tea will be served at the Kali'na Restaurant terrace, and there is a cafe available onsite at an additional charge.

You can take the hotel's shuttle from the resort to Pigeon Point Heritage Park***, a 125-acre nature reserve. You'll find Pigeon Point Beach—according to The Guardian "probably the most beautiful beach in Tobago"—in this reserve.
