Hotel details
The Argile Resort is right next to Xi beach, just south of the Paliki peninsula. The beach is well-known on the island for its copper-coloured sands backed by white cliffs. The town of Lixouri, with its picturesque harbour, is less than 10 minutes' drive away.
As well as having the beach on your doorstep, there's also a large outdoor swimming pool (with a separate one for kids). Other facilities include a wellness centre, where you can book massages, and tennis courts.
All your meals are included at the main buffet restaurant. Unwind with a cocktail accompanied by laid-back live music at the beach bar. There's also an indoor jazz bar with live performances, and a juice bar if you fancy a healthy pick-me-up.
Standard Rooms are spacious and modern, decorated in earthy tones. They come with a balcony overlooking the gardens or pool, as well as a flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free.
About Kefalonia
Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian islands—and, as it lays to the south of the chain, it is also one of the warmest. It is far less crowded than Corfu and Zante, and has the only natural park in Greece, alongside sun-soaked beaches, pine forests, and impressive caves. In October you can expect highs of around 24°C.
Transfers & baggage
Return private transfers are included. Add checked baggage from £65 per person.
