Hotel details
Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian islands—and, as it lays to the south of the chain, it is also one of the warmest. It is far less crowded than Corfu and Zante, and has the only natural park in Greece, alongside sun-soaked beaches, pine forests, and impressive caves. In May you can expect highs around 25°C.
The Louis Apostolata Island Resort is on Kefalonia's southeast coast, perched on a hillside sloping down to the Mediterranean. The nearest beach is about a 10-minute drive away, in the town of Skala, with its waterfront promenade lined with pine trees.
Relax by the outdoor swimming pool with a cocktail in hand, or book a relaxing treatment in the spa. There are also two tennis courts, if you want to work on your serve.
The all-inclusive board covers all meals in the main dining room, plus you can have dinner in the Ostrako restaurant, which serves Greek specialities with sea views. During the day, you can grab snacks and drinks from the pool restaurant. In the evening, you can wind down with a cocktail in the lounge bar. Wi-Fi is free.
