Hotel details
Take in uninterrupted views over the Mediterranean Sea from the sundeck of the 5-star Litore Resort Hotel & Spa, which is near a private sandy beach on the Turkish Riviera. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus to the beach every 10 minutes.

Facilities include an indoor swimming pool and two outdoor swimming pools, one of which has three waterslides. There's also a gym, a Turkish bath, a sauna, and a steam bath. You are free to join beach volleyball games, aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes; play table tennis, or try archery and airgun shooting. Banana boat rides, diving and surfing lessons, and Jetski rentals are available for an extra charge.

The main restaurant serves international cuisine, and there are four à la carte venues (Italian, Turkish, seafood, and sushi) as well, which you can dine at twice during your stay for no additional cost. The hotel has six bars, and the in-room mini bar will be replenished three times a week.

Rooms have a furnished private balcony and come with tea- and coffee-making facilities. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.

The seaside holiday resort of Side has a "scattering of glorious Roman and Hellenistic ruins" (Lonely Planet), and you can easily spend hours browsing souvenir shops near the small harbour — it is just over 30 minutes' drive from the hotel. The bustling city of Alanya, at the foot of the southern slopes of the Taurus mountains, has a Medieval castle with far-reaching views over the Mediterranean, and is approximately 45 minutes away by car.
